says that these are only for standard consoles not the special edition ones. but I don't see how different plastic cases on the outside makes a difference on the actual hardware inside.
so I wanted to ask, will this product work with the 'nintendo new 3ds xl - hyrule gold edition'?

I use it for few ares now.. Sometimes it didn't see the card but i just put it off and on again and it work's!

But there is nothing about.. What is the maximum size we can use ( If the is a maximum) ?

I bought this product few years ago, it was always working fine until last year I upgraded my 3DS to 7.1.0-15E and it stopped working, it forced me to turn off my 3DS no matter how many times I tried to re-update the kernel and firmware. Is it broken? do I need to buy a new one?
