Hello /r/SoSE! I am the lead dev for Sins of the Prohets and I've come to ask how you guys feel about map design for the game - what you like, what you don't like, what you haven't seen but would like to?
How to install the clone wars mod. I'm not a huge fan of perfectly symmetrical maps, I'd rather tell a story - create an interesting universe for you to play in, but I wanted to poll some folks about this kind of thing before I really dove into trying more of this. I'm also interested in seeking ideas from people who actively design maps that see the light of day and survive fan critique.
What do you want from your maps? Do you want a pure competitive experience? For those of you who use big mods, do you want the same thing? Or would you rather play something that may not be 100% fair, but allows you to play with something in-universe friendly and interesting?
