While traveling around Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild , you’ll come across not just weapons and material but also armor and pieces of clothing that will help Link survive in this new world.
There are all types of equipment, from boots to pants to jewelry and they can all help Link in different ways.

Some pieces of clothing are obtained through part of the main story, while others require the completion of side quests or are found in the Shrine puzzles. Some are activated when you tap the proper amiibo, those pieces have been loeft off this list.
If you want to upgrade the armor, you have to spare some Rupees. There are four powerful fairies in the game, and they can all upgrade a part of the armor. At the beginning each of them is magically trapped in a bud and you have to give them a certain amount of Rupees in order to get them out.
