Dear Blizzard,
I have 1000+ hours of my PC D3 version. I have bought PS4 version just because I didnt wanted to see this hacked/moddem items from hacked consoles (Ps3/X360).
You decided to allow people to transfer save-data from hacked PS3 to non-hacked PS4 environment. Thans to that random dudes with hack4d items (sword 8900 DPS, 3 sockets, 9.9 attack per second) join my games and ruin it.
I know I 'can' play with friends only. But sometimes friends are offline and I like to play in party.
Please add to PS4 version max-stat comparison to degrade/delete bad items. Max-stats for item type are already in game (we can even see them by pressing arrow on gamepad).
PS4 enviroment is clear and free yet you cross-save transfer destroyed it. And solution is very simple!

What purpose does it serve to completely over exaggerate like that? I have had an amazing experience online. Use the tools that Sony has very thoughtfully integrated into the ps4. Block people using hacked items. If you're host, ask them to leave. I would much prefer for the development team to focus their time on making sure patch 2.1 is the absolute best it can possibly be and not waste time coding something like that which you already have the tools to control.
Yes, modding can hurt some games. It's your choice to let it effect your experience in RoS.

Nobody cares how long you have been a Blizz customer lol. NOTHING will be done. Enjoy that fact.
I don't care to play with people/gear that isn't legit but kicking and screaming about this will not accomplish anything.

Lol hate to be a @!%#%**! and say this.... but youre dumb if u think blizzard has ANY control over this... While yes they made the game they cant access peoples PSN accounts and remove or even add items for that matter. only SONY has the ability to do this and they wont i bet my life on it.

Weird, I've spent the last day or two doing public games only and the only hacked person I saw was when I joined a T6 rift game to check it out. I probably saw a hundred different people in public games and only the one had modded gear.

I care; it's nice to read about people loyalty to a company for so many years.

Sure you can't mod items on the PS4 yet, but you can still dupe all day long on the PS4. You can't have offline play and a cheat free environment. Just block people with modded gear and move on.

I got the PS4 and PC versions the Ps4 is for lazy couch days with my son and I.(can play during maintence or when a nimrod wannabe 733t H@xX0r $qu@d hit's the bnet with DDOS.) The PC version is for my more focused play (seasons ladders etc)
They could have taken a page out of borderlands2 playbook and have the system purge modded gear when the save loads up for play yes yes for those of you saying you can still mod gear on BL2 but you can only mod what has a legit possibility of dropping gone are the uber mod days.

I like playing with others who have hacked items, makes getting gear for myself easier. They wont need anything that drops, so you can just ask them to share. Most do.
As others here said, if you dont like running into hacks, just block them and leave/rejoin public game, you wont see that fool anymore.

Everyone crys about modded gear. Who cares. When u buy the game for people then u can tell them how to play. I dont need ur permission on how to play the game that I bought. I can do whatever I want with it. So grow up and move on stop being a bunch of babies.

Seriously though, with a game like this some sort of segregation is the best bet so that everyone can do as they please without ruin anyone else's fun. So far the only method to do that is to block cheaters one by one as you run into them -- which involves either leaving the game or booting everyone from it (if hosting). It's extremely inconvenient, but is quite likely the only option console folks are ever going to see.

No it's not. I have ran into 3 today alone. Both with over 650m DPS lol
My only issue well not only but my biggest one was if you are going to create a uber weapon could you not have named it something better than 'Professional Russia's Fast Sword'.

Derp Derp dippidie Derp... Blizzard do have control over the issue by fixing the problem by developing the logic the OP suggested. They don't have to do anything with the psn network, the game itself should be able to detect and remove whack gear <_>

They have been trying to get rid of hackers along time now whats the point really though they will just attack the server anyway just like they just did so don't make sense really to push the issue's on forum u could via them an email and wait a century for them to get back to you or shut up like the rest of us and block the hackers then rejoin so you don't have to play with some one who is op geared which I like to because of all the gear especially that drops in Torment VI can help you gear out faster
